Elsie Dombek (she/they) is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in rural Washington and is currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. Elsie’s unique childhood of growing up on a salmon stream with a family of clowns serves as inspiration to continue the personal wonderland full of imagination and whimsy that has surrounded her since she was a kid. Tales of her signature creatures ensuing chaos in magical lands frequent Elsie’s paintings and drawings, while glowing lights and unnatural colors wash over her photographs. Elsie’s work has been exhibited at the FIT Museum and the Frank Lloyd Gallery in Portland, OR.
